Canadian paypal setup

Dear All,
I am just a beginner to this. I need some help for setting up canadian account. is it good to set up canadian account from US ip? also if I can use my US number for canada accounts?

I would also like to know..
I was told by someone that a US number did work for there Canadian account.
Anyone else try it?
