Does eBay link accounts by the phone number you call in?
 

I have two stealth accounts and sometimes I used one same phone number to call in and request higher selling limits or ask questions about my accounts. This phone number is NOT registered to any eBay account. I wonder if my two accounts have been linked because of that?

The reason I do not use the registered numbers because they are prepaid cellphones and have limited minutes. Just waiting for eBay's response is enough to drain all the minutes.

Never use anything (name, phone, address) on more than one account. Ebay keeps records of everything, if needed, purchase more minutes on the prepaids that are linked to the accounts.

Using the same phone number to call eBay for 2 different accounts, will definitively link them.

WOW WOW people while I would say better to be safe and don't use the same number. I definitely would not agree that it would be a definite link. Unless you actually add the numbers to your accounts. But if your just using them to call in then very doubtful it will link. I use the same num. from time to time just to call in...
