Too many accounts?

I made like 20 accounts and phone verified them all (EBAY) over the weekend. Today every one of the new accounts and 2 of my old ones were suspended. Every account has the same info. Could it be they saw too many accounts opening from the same IP? Like I said, every one of my accounts on this IP have the same info, all the new ones went down, 2 old ones went down as well, I still have many of the old ones still but am starting over on a new IP with new info now.

Hilarious post. Each account must have new address, new ip, new number, new email, new everything and create a different user account on windows for each one. Goodluck.

This cant be a serious thread.

Re: Too many accounts?

Obv I may have mis worded everything. I have a brand new IP, Email, Name, etc. Everything is stealth. On the new IP I have made duplicate stealth accounts (due to selling limits).

That's still a total fail.

If you have created multiple stealth accounts with the same info and on the same IP, Ebay know this is an attempt to bypass selling limits and act accordingly (which they have).

Multiple Ebay accounts with the same info are allowed but don't set them up at one go. Wait until the first account is established before creating the next one if that is what you are determined to do.

It really isn't the best way of doing things though. You should keep the Ebay / Paypal ratio at 1:1 to prevent multiple account suspensions due to linking.

Wait, what? I didn't know this.

Do you mean 1 buyer and 1 seller account?

This may be allowed but why do you want to RISK a link?

@OP, why did you use same IP? /boggle

He already stated why. He was creating multiple ebay accounts with the same name and address in order to try and bypass the selling limit restrictions. Given the accounts had the same details, it would be pointless to use a different IP.

Nope. You can have multiple ebay seller accounts linked to one Paypal.

It really isn't a very good idea. Needs to be set up properly and with care or it goes t1ts up, just as it has for the OP.

I am just sorry that you wasted that many hours of your life...ouch! Start with maybe one of 2, let them run smoothly for a few months, if no issues, then make additional accounts.

It is not that he didnt know what he was doing. He was trying to create one account with great limits. I think the plan was to dump all the other accounts, and use the best of the best.

Re: Too many accounts?

Honestly, I think it's pointless to have a bunch of Ebays to 1 Paypal......l would rather have 1 Ebay to 1 Paypal.

I once saw that happen but with pigs.....sad, very sad! All that bacon running lose...couldn't sleep for 2 days just thinking about it.

Stealth means secret.... so the same IP address is going to be a big red flag. I don't think you read the stealth guide.

Re: Too many accounts?

In a way, it kinda makes sense for a split second. I mean I see his logic but 20 accounts? Still major FAIL but but if he created 3 accounts with like family member names and then he merges all accounts together, he might have a chance. The method is flawed and lacks common sense. Just one thing. I thought you could only have like 2 accounts A regular and a business ebay account.
Anyway. Enough of this

It's funny to us, because you can't see that what you did wasn't very smart, or use full in the slightest.

You can have one personal PayPal account and one Business PayPal account.

For eBay, you can have as many accounts as you want. But it won't get you around the selling limits. eBay allows multiple accounts, as it makes sense to keep some things separate. For example, you sell children's movies. But you also want to list adult films in the adults only section. You are afraid, however, that some of your customers might be offended by this. So, you have two accounts, one for the kids stuff and one for the adult titles.

But if your limits are 100/10000, then that will become the combined limit on both accounts. If you try to evade this by using slightly different information and eBay catches you, then the accounts will be closed.
