Some buyers, what the hell
 

Ok, so I got a stealth buyer for one of my feedback building auctions. He messages me asking "Don't send this, I just want the feedback. Ok?". Uh, yeah, I'm not going to simply type back "Okay!" because that probably wouldn't fly in ebay's court system, lol. So, I tell him, "No, can't do, against ebay's policy. I'm going to send it", and then he messages me his REAL address to send it to. Like, wth? Is this guy a moron?

If this guy got banned from ebay, and he's being all stealthy, like why in the world would he send his REAL address in ebay's message system? He realizes ebay reads these messages, right? *smh*

He might not be aware of the stealth rules... he might not know what stealth is all about.

Just opened another account with other infos but then again, as already explained in the forum, buyer accouts are generally not an issue for eBay.

He will be hit as soon as tries to list some items.

I have a software where I keep templates with the same replies and even return address. I used to send it all the time from different accounts and none of the accounts has ever been associated with each other. Just shows how much security is implemented in their "message checks"

Just because they don't go after you for stuff like this doesn't mean that they won't in the future.

I agree, he is completely blind to how eBay works, no reason to drop real address through message easiest way to get tipped off by sellers.

If you're banned from eBay completely, then you'd need a stealth buyer account wouldn't you? lol. Especially if there are good deals on a product you are interested in on eBay.

No as previous members already said, BUYING isn't the problem, its selling.

Swbluto this has been discussed in the forum brfore. Addresses in messsage body have not been known to cause issues . Take a chill pill

Currently that's not an issue and hasnt been in the past years. Anything can happen in the future. Return address is completely irrelevant. You could be a dropshipper using the same return address.

After I sent the product and feedback was already given (Already marked as shipped), ebay has "Print a shipping label" as the button right next to it in bold. None of the other auctions have that label, and none of them are in bold.

Jeez, thanks buyer for making ebay suspicious. I just hope I don't get affected by this, ebay-wise.

Btw, I'm pretty sure there's "keywords" that tipped off messages to be manually reviewed by ebay. To say that ebay doesn't care what's discussed in messages is obviously ignorant. All my wordpress blogs get tipped off by keywords, don't see why ebay would be any different.

Edit: Well, looks like another auction just the bold "Print this" on a already sent package. Maybe they do that automatically past so many sales? ("Hey, you're experienced enough, why don't you buy shipping labels"?)
