It isn't exactly current breaking news, but interesting in that it gives some insights into the whole 'us vs. them' game (or not a game really once the feds step in!) in regards to anonymity, or lack there-of; possible impact on ebay rules, and mindset in a miniscule way!, etc... "The SIIA contends that eBay should take down an auction immediately when the associates find evidence that a dealer is selling pirated software, he said.
Furthermore, the SIIA wants eBay to stop the practice of disclosing the identities of people bidding on software before an auction closes to prevent sales of more illegal software behind the scenes. "...... |
