Put HTML link at top of ebay listing + watermarks
 

Hi guys,

I made a picture, put it in in photobucket, then put the HTML code in ebay, linking it directly to my own website when people click it.

This has seen an increase of traffic to my website as I have approx 125 active listings.

I am surprised eBay did not kill the listings.

I also watermarked my eBay header picture with my .co.uk website address.

I seem to be totally unmolested so far. Its been about 5 months now and nothing pulled.

Is there a gap here or can I anticipate having all 125 listings pulled!

Oh guys btw if anyone wants to know how to put a picture in photobucket, post it in ebay and then link it to your own website let me know.

Or if its acceptable to the moderators I will post it in here with simple instructions on how to do it.

Its just a bit of fun and it works really well.

Still am unmolested by any eBay actions and have also been rewarded with the Top Rated seller status.

You mean in your description part, when a customer clicks onto a picture, it opens a tab and takes the customer to your own site?

Yes thats it. The picture in the eBay listing with your logo in.

They click it and are diverted.

I get some site traffic from this.
