new low, a ebay seller account hacked to sell counterfeits from china
 

I bought a MS Office 2010 H&B for what looked like a suspiciously good price from a US seller with great 100% feedback. Order was marked as shipped with tracking 2 days ago. Then I look at tracking and it's international USPS. Huh?

Another funny thing was the listing was marked as buyer can only buy one item from that person every 10 days or every transaction (or was it a month?).

Turns out very early this morning while paying for this weekend's wins, I get a note on the transaction that the listing has been removed blah blah.

Given the totality of events and information here (and that I now know that this seller's account hasn't even been active on ebay for a while), I can only conclude that this person's account was hacked to sell counterfeit Chinese made software. Wow, just wow. Chinese scum are escalating their campaign to sell their counterfeits.

why you think that it was hacked and that person didn't sell it himself? do you really think that MS Office 2010 comes from China if it's counterfeit? probably all torrents are full of MS 2013, not even speaking about MS Office 2010

Yes. There are counterfeit copies floating out there.

Just because there are torrents full of Office 2010 and 2013 doesn't mean some Chinese a$$hole won't try to float counterfeits on eBay and make another buck.
