how important are IP Addresses
 

Ok. I am curious about this experience

Maybe someone have gone through this

I am having trouble getting comcast to give me new block of IP addresses.,

All the block of IP address that I am getting from Comcast,. I have used in the past and those accounts have gone down.

So if I open a new account of course all the details are different, Would I still be link just because of the IP address, If that is the possible that means many people will get limit just because comcast keep passing those Ip address from users to users


Any advise if not what VPN can I use that is FREE and safe. I hear many stories about the VPN

Comcast, Time Warner, Cox all will not give you an IP address that easy. They are very difficult to change.

Look at your question below......

If we were able to reuse the same IP address we would have no reason to talk about VPN's, Dongles, MIFI's and other methods of getting IPs....makes sense?


lol, sorry but Free + Safe + VPN don't exist. If your looking for a static fresh IP via VPN, contact 123 about 24vc VPN.

Youre ask the question and answering it yourself.
Dont take chances with the IP address.
And there are other IP solutions out there that will not cost you a lot - you just have to do the proper research to find the answers youre looking for.

Honestly, in my experience, IP addresses are the weakest hard link eBay/Paypal uses.

It depends mostly on just how long it's been since you used the IP address on another account. If it's been several months AND all other info is unique, INCLUDING listing techniques, titles, products, etc you won't have a problem.

AMAZON, on the other hand, is much more brutal about linking accounts, but I believe that mostly comes down to how many more eBay sellers there are than Amazon sellers.

ATT mobile hotspot. Will cost you 25 to 40 a month for pre paid plan. Dynamic new ip address every time you turn it on.

They wont match you by IP alone. They match you by at least 2 things. IP, address, name, cookies, etc. Not just one thing alone. Everyone has recycled IPs.

@OP, go for dongle or cellphone tethering too - those work for dynamic IP

Very true. Love verizon hotspot tethering. Always get a new IP address. Have been logging all the IPs and out of about 100, I get 1 match. So 99 out of 100 are coming up as new. At least new to me :)
