Larger Items and Collection
 

Hi All, hope your keeping well.

I have some larger items to list and would like to do for collection only. Obviously the account is registered in another location and not my home address. There is an option when listing to enter a postcode for collection (would use one closeby not my actual one) I wondered if anyone had done similar. Obviously will get better results of it shows correctly in distance nearest first results instead of just writing in the description where the item is to be collected from.
Any advice appreciated

Use one closeby - actually doesnt make much difference UNLESS you are hoping to sell locally...

What I mean is does it flag up any warnings from experience with eBay if my account is registers in say Wales but collection is in Scotland

I think it will be fine. I have seen such listings from Chinese. Account registered in China, but local pickup possible at UK..

You cover yourself by having the pick up address identified as your warehouse pr despatch centre.

As a matter of interest, make sure you have sellers' protection with any sale.

How do I do this out of interest?
Items will be paid for with cash on collection. It's for items such as bikes or large furniture
