One buyer buys 2x - counted as 2 sells on ebay?
 

Hey guys,
I want to know your opinions on this:

Two different scenarios

Scenario a) ebay user "Abc1" buys two times the same item (clicks on buy, pays and then opens the listing again, buys again, pays again)

Scenario b) ebay user "Abc1" buys a listing and puts in the quantity field "2 items"

Does eBay count both as two sales or is it just "one" sale because one ebay user bought it?

I am asking because popular auctions got this "This item got sold 2 times in 24 hours" thing on top of their listing. I wanted to see whether it is going to count as 2 sales as well

In relation to your selling limits it will count as 2 items so they should include it in the '2 sold in 24 hours'

I know on BIN I have had in the past when 1 person purchased 5 items it showed as '5 sold in 24 hours'

I have not tested it in situation A though, but my educated guess is that it would be the same

If you buy 2 items you buy 2 items, they're gonna count it either way

Of course it's two items. Why wouldn't it be? The only difference is, if he buys 2 items at once vs 2 items within minutes of each other, he can open TWO cases.
