Brand Misuse
 

ebay have been all over "brand misuse" these last two weeks

They have been removing many listings.

They'll send a message saying they have removed a few listings which contained another brand name. Before you can remove any other listings with the same keyword in bam, another message and more removed.

they have been targeting some obscure keywords too and stuff i've been ok including for years is suddenly getting punished

It doesn't say VERO or MC*** so whats the deal here? Is this damaging my account?

Yes, your account is being damaged every time a listing is removed. There's an unspecified amount each account can take before a permanent selling restriction / full account suspension is given.

We'll yeah but they are doing it over two different categories on two different accounts so they are cracking down in general, and not specifically on me.

This has been against the rules for YEARS, under "keyword spamming" or some other term. I'm glad to hear they are finally getting around to removing this spam crap.
