1. first of all.

does ebay bots search description for nono words? which cause your listings to be taken down.


2. secondly is there anyway to outsmart the bot with the title.

for example publishing listing with totally irrelevant title, then editing the listing and putting the correct title in. or any other way that actually works.

Number one, all designer goods NAMES are at risk with the bots and secondly buyer/sellers complaining will shut you down. Build up FB, shipping times etc. Still if it's really hot like Tiffany, Pandora etc maybe one day auctions for about a week is all you get if you are lucky before they shut you down. Maybe a receipt will work but not always. In the USA

Not here to sugar coat things, The OP could have answered with a Yes or No, simple as that....I didn't ask what his stuff is but when people ask the same question in different ways....it does arise certain questions.

Bots do search out for keywords in the title also you should take note of what phrases and models you use in the listings description and checkbox's

There are many ebay trolls looking for this kind of thing...

An item number or UPC code could work, but make it a bit less searchable unless people are looking for that item...

I often search by UPC code for specific items

Method 2 trips the bots again.

Ebay woke up to sellers making amendments to bypass rules.

I do this all the time. I kinda have to but I do it smartly and usually don't have any problems with the bots.

They got sued by I think Versace for selling counterfeits and misleading branding. I've noticed a increase in the bots on my listings. You really gotta know how to word the title so the bots don't think your just adding brands in the title. Alot of brands can look like verbs or nouns if you word the title correctly.

I have noticed random listings getting tripped by the bots lately. Not sure why because the brands I use the most are verbs and nouns so I think the bots can't really determine if I'm describing the item or if its actually a brand. It's tricky, and there is no method to the madness.
