Tracfone "Not valid phone number" on ebay?

My tracfone number was confirmed w/ paypal but when i input it into ebay I am getting an error "please enter a valid phone number". I know I am putting in the right number and I can make calls with the phone (although I have paid for mins, im just using the ones it came with). Anyone else have this issue?

This happened to me on an account a couple of days ago. It appeared to take the number, but when I tired to register a seller account a screen popped up with the phone number is red and said the same thing, ENTER A VALID PHONE NUMBER and it would not take it at all. I do not know if it was a glitch, but I abandoned the account and got a new number. I have not seen this since.
