Business Accounts on Ebay
 

I have an account under a legal business. They gave me a selling limit of 5/500. How do I get this raised if I have already reached the limit for the month? I have called before (on old accounts) and they would always ask personal questions for identification. This eBay account is under a business. What do I say if they ask me for my name?

well even business account is on some name, shouldn't they give you one time passcode on "contact us" page and just ask for your name which is on account?

I try to say the company name but they ask for a specific person's name. And then they want more information on that person and not the company.

I have yet to call on this account. I am saying that they have done this on one of my past accounts.

But the business must have an owner or a Director depending on the way it is set up, you need to have that information at hand as that person is the company's representative.

Since you already got the 5/500 limit you cannot get anything higher than double limits per month. You could try calling in a bunch of times and maybe, maybe if you get a rep that lets you get higher limits but its doubtful.

The thing is calling in RIGHT NOW is the worst time to do so for limits. Security is increased ten fold around this time so yes they will ask database questions for simple requests like limit raises, in your case. For people who just want to double their limits its no problem but you realistically won't get to much higher without going threw a database questionnaire.

And you obviously have a name on your account even if its a business name. Business or not if they want to verify the person behind the account they will. All businesses have a person in charge, so there is no way around what your trying to do...

you need send your ID, bank statement and product's invoices to ebay. If everything's ok they will increase your allowance selling.
