How are some listings on ebay still on there for viewing after 2 years?
 

There is a listing I know of it has been there for more then 2 years and just left for viewing. I thought items were deleted after 90 days or so from completed listing view?

"Good Till Canceled" and you can select an option to keep the item up after the quantity reaches 0.

Wonder why anyone would choose that option though. Whats the point of keeping an item up after it reached '0'?

I thought that too... but since I started using this feature as of a few weeks ago it's DEFINITELY worth it.

I restock every couple weeks so in the past I'd have to relist the same listing. As of 3 weeks ago my listing that stays up after 0 quantity is now at 60 something watchers and 1000 views. The amount sold on the listing also stays up so if you have an item with 100 sold you'd trust that seller a bit more than an item with 0 sold, imo.

I sold about 5 within an hour of restocking this week. I'm guessing that when you're watching an item that goes to 0 then gets restocked, eBay will send you an email

the listing shows total sold number in bright red, i have seen total sold over 1000 for some items, GTC
