linked account still fine ??
 

i sold vero items for 2 years with my US account and then its restricted in 2013.( 100% authentic called numerous time to ebay but gave up! )
at that time i didnt know anything about stealth and my other account shared all the info with the restricted one like shipping address , IP address , cookies, paypal address , bank account so they were obviously linked

I have prepared for it to go down anytime, but it's been now 2 years and its still fine. i am not sure why and how, except its a miracle ?

You've just been lucky. I've had an account linked to a suspended account over a year later before, and both accounts were selling at the same time.

It's only a matter of time!

Another eb, pp mystery. Just be grateful and have backup stealth accounts.

Very unusual - unless that account has not been actively selling on which case the chance of it getting taken down would be lower. If you do start now itll most likely get shut down fast.

Well, I have actually had a seller account in my real name and address going for over a year now. Using a different name for example, my original limited details were Chris Smith say with all my real address etc.

I registered as Christopher Smith with again same details, used a new card etc. I instantly went through paypal and lifted all my limits and upgraded my paypal to a business seller. I then got posted out the code to upgrade to 100 items a month.

What was different was it was all new IP, cookies etc.

This was done purely as an experiment, just playing around.

Ive even listed and sold on ebay. I regularly buy items from there as its straight to my address.

Yes several times.

To confirm:

Paypal and ebay perma limited under real name and address

New account with exact same info but full first name. New user account, ip etc

Went straight into paypal without a transaction to lift limits. Failed verification even though it was real so sent in REAL ID. Passed and limits lifted.

Went to ebay and increased seller limits to 100 by form of letter being sent to address.

Multiple items sold on account (around 10) just for laughs. I buy from it ALL THE TIME and have also had around 6 payments TO my direct paypal from other people . I have withdrawn funds around 5 times.

I basically use this as a legit casual ebayer would do. I totally get that one day it could go down but its been both confusing and fun year or more!

I can confirm another linking way that works.

I shared the same IP, I think perhaps even cookies (at the time, I never bothered to clear them). But name, address, etc was different. Never got shut-down. Well, not NEVER, as I did go down eventually for selling digital goods, but not for linking.

That said, I would NOT recommend testing it! I think I was lucky, although my luck held out for quite some time.

Bottom line: eBay appears to be lenient SOMETIMES with suspended sellers. They aren't going on witchunts. But you should NEVER rest on your laurels. Always have a backup. ALWAYS.
