Keep getting used ip's reset 10 times now
 

I have reset 10 times and keep getting different ip's that have already been used .. I even done a hard reset on modem still gives me a used ip.. anyway to correct this without calling cable co?

just a funny thing I have used same provider for years and now I keep getting used ip over and over I am still trying and getting red bar everytime.. unplugged everything hit the reset button for a min straight to reset still same DEAL

30x's in a row and still used ips WTH .. I got ovr 40 accounts needn checked on I DONT GET IT

yes spoofin And its local little provider that I am pretty sure goes through dish net for cable and internet

It depends on the towers your getting your IP from. If you change location it should be a easy fix...

been trying over 2 hours to get a single unused ip with no luck . I bet 100 attempts all RED bar dup. ip detected ... ugh ANYONE else ever have this happen ? I mean I have had a few times to get a used one or two in a roll but 100 just like its on a loop system ..

still getting used ip's not a single usable ip .. was is this happening ? two days of changing and only getting used numbers .. I hate to cancel my internet anything I can do?

Sounds like a mifi or phone tethering or a new provider is in order or all of the above.

MANY if not most Broadband providers today give you the same IP over and over hence we use mifi, phone tethering, vpn etc... along with a provider that you can pull new IPs when needed. Maybe you need your own modem and router. Maybe that will still pull a very small IP pool of your provider.

just funny that has been working for years with a seldom repeat and overnite all ip I hit are used not a single unused ip.. I mean if I was running out of the "pool" seems like I would be getting lots of reused before now

yea I looked into vpn but I am running 40 active accounts and then another 60 that I bounce back and forth to. so this would cost a fortune ea month renting a ip ..
but this is stressing me out ..

so get a mifi or use your phone..... Not hard at all in any way.

Also, just call your provider. I would guess they changed.

does the wireless router used have any influence on ip range ? I mean I spoof using the belkin mac page if I got a different router would this change the range ?

I would blow right through my mobile data unless there is something I am missing using your cell to run 100 accounts . I literally spend 8-10 hrs a day going through 40-50 accounts answering all the questions and problems relisting ,shipping ect.

this actually happened to me with one cell provider. was getten different ips with no problem then one day it was only changing between TEN ips! made no sense and I was still in the same location as usual.

JUST bought another wireless router .. spoof mac same crap red bar used ip going on 3 days since I filled any orders ... I am calling the cable company to cancel if they cant fix . BUT why do I tell them I need a new ip range ? ANYONE asap

Well that worked like a turd in the punch bowl .. I finally got tech team back and forth reset this change that . NOPE still repeating used ips .. he said there is only a limited number of ips and apparently I have logged everyone they can offer.. they have no way of giving a new range... Killing me

I see that as a good thing.

Keep using the same IP on an account. Most stable.

So account A gets IP 123-78-23
account B gets IP 123-78-45
etc..

This is WHY I use comcast broadband. I can re pull an IP for stability and saves logging IPs.

I do see but ....

1 I didn't log a name to the already used ip so I wouldn't know which Is connected to what name ..
2 the ip is all over the place and would never hit the right account be getting the same name 3 outta 10 times problems like that .. I would get 30 of the names checked and then last 10 I would get every name but the one of the last 10.. I had a deal like that when I first started muti accounts a real pain in the butt.. I am now wondering if there is a chance of maybe changing channels on the main modem .. if this would change anything .. the tech guy didn't want to give any advise when I said I can go to 192.168.blah blah
to access the modem settings ..anyone know about changing info in the modem I don't know anything about subnet mask or other things that can be changed on it but I don't want mess it up so it don't work at all lol

or burn a little data and not piss off your customers for three days of not shipping at Christmas on 40 accounts, lol

Shipping would be my number one priority and then finding a new service if needed.

Just an fyi. I use cell phone tethering and only the last 5 digits of my ip address ever change. After 8 months of doing this im getting the same id address around 20 percent of the time.

Yea I order internet through a new company 5-10 days to hook it up :( yea I gotta do something Never tethered to my cell do I have to have a wire ? I did read something about using phone and mobile hotspot I have a Samsung sg3 I am sure there is a thread about it but got a million problems all at once with these damn kids

ok tethered to cell got a new ip used it . now how do I change ip on my cell ..? I don't need to make accounts on my cell or anything right ? please little more help and I will be good till I get my home net setup

Sure bet. Location is a huge aspect. So you have several service providers as well. Tmobile, att, verizon etc...

Also, 3g will have leaps and bounds more IPs than LTE so use your settings if needed.

I am using att I did get all 40 accounts tended to it used up about 1/10th of my data . Is there a better provider more data cheaper ?

IF all other data (cookies, browser, browser fingerprint, items sold, addresses, etc etc etc) is different on EVERY account, IP alone is not enough to link, assuming enough time has past (at least 60 days, in my experience) between last use.
