Mistake changing banks will ebay link me?
 

Recently i applied for a new rbs account and realised i could do a switch so my old santander account gets closed and direct debits transferred over.

I just tried adding account onto my paypal and it was saying i can not add that account on anymore paypal accounts and i must use another, was confused as it was a fresh account with new sort code and account number.

Then i checked my old email address linked to my suspended account which i was using the santander account with and i had an email saying that they have amended bank and direct debit details to my new rbs ones.

did not realise rbs would contact paypal or that paypal even had a direct debit set up with my santaner account but was wondering will this have any affect with my new account that rejected the bank details will my paypal accounts be linked?

I don't think a one time "bank addition try" by itself will link the accounts - in your shoes (if you followed good stealth), I would not be so worried.

Don't repeat - get a clean bank account and verify the new stealth account well.

paypal links because it deals with bank accounts, not ebay.
