Is it safe to buy ebay giftcard on ebay and use the giftcard to make purchases and then have it ship to your real address?

Will my stealth paypal get linked?

from my understanding you need a paypal account to use ebay gift cards

The way I see it it is no better than sending payments from one account to another.
you might get away with it once or twice but eventually all those gift cards being used on the account will flag it and get it and all other involved accounts suspended.
Note that once you use a gift card it is forever linked to your account and shows up in the payment history.

Yeah, I noticed it today when I bought it. I bought it from target but target ****ed up and gave me an inactive card so they refunded me.

But target purchased it from paypal. so i guess no matter where you purchase ebay giftcards, it is coming from ebay or paypal itself. IDK abou the physical one.

I hope you are not thinking about using that 20 gift card ebay give you on specific accounts and use it on another.......if so instant link/BAN

gift card is just like a credit card without address, as soon as you pick your ship to address, it'll link the address.

The biggeest thing paypal goes by is address.

I try to checkout as a guest, if i put in my real banned address, than it blocks it, regardless if i use my card or someone else's card.

Wait. So if an address has been banned before, ebay wont allow shipment to that specific address?

Because my real ebay account got banned, i cant buy or sell. So does that mean, i cant buy on eBay anymore?

I had 2 accounts, they only limit my buying and selling on one account because i called in to complain. So that fat guy got annoyed and banned me from buying too.
