200/20k with a stealth account, taxes?
 

so if you hit the limit or get requested tax etc... and you have your real bank account wont they come after you? I mean they have your bank which is in your real name, wont they try to find you and make you pay taxes? what prevents ebay/pp from not doing that?

The way PayPal works now it they block most accounts from getting to $20k/200 sales. You will be blocked from receiving payments at like 180 transactions or maybe sooner depending on how fast you sell throughout the year. This is to cover their butts on the IRS regulations because they don't want ppl going over without Tax info they can't give to IRS. Usually if something phisy comes up your PayPal will be blocked not just from receiving payments and closing the account but I guess potentially hold the money until documentation if somehow you get through their flags and it is a serious offense. A Tax Id request is not a death nail, it just means you need to check your numbers and potentially put the account aside until the next calendar year.

In January the slate is cleaned and the account can take payments again until it gets the 1st request, then a second request, and then is limited. I have about 4 that are limited right now and will be fine in early January. Exactly what day (not the 1st), I don't know. Which is a post I will make in a minute or two.

You seem over the top paranoid.....Just a quick FYI, if all of what your asking would be possible....don't you think we would have more people telling us their sad stories on how PayPal came after them? The most that can happen is being sent to a collection Agency. No more Tin Foil Hats for you my friend.

Ebay and paypal have nothing to do with taxes...

Taxes are from states and IRS. You would never pay ebay or paypal taxes for the sole reason, they dont collect them.
