Why do I have no limits when I make a new account?
 

As the title states I have made 8 new accounts all 100% verified paypals connected. When I go to sell on ebay there are no limits listed and when I try to list an item i get the "0/0" Limit and have to call and get my limits.

That's just how Ebay is sometimes......No rhyme or reason.

It's because you are trying to sell immediately after creating the accounts which looks very suspicious to ebay. If I were you, I would i would bid on items for couple days and maybe buy couple small items, then start selling. If you want to sell immediately, all you have to do is call up. They will ask you to verify your identity (name, address, phone number) and item you are selling, and why you are selling it. Hope that helps. Also make sure your ip address matches that home address.

I was not trying to sell right away, I think I solved my issue!

@greenbean GV, vanilla gift card, VBA. ebay is fresh, even before linking PP it wont give me limits.

GV is your answer. Using any free phone service that can be easily identified as such is going to give you hassles more often than not. You won't get 0 limits when using prepaid phones as long as everything else is fine.

I used to get that issue, so i started buying accounts to save the hassle

This is happening to me with tracfone numbers, you said you think you solved it. How did you do so?

That's because tracfones have been abused. Once a # is stored in eBay's database, if someone else try's to use it they will get linked. If you don't live in a huge city the numbers can be more easier to recirculate.

I use AT&T prepaid phones. Cost more but I don't have 100's of accounts. These accounts that I build I build strong with nice phones. ;)

I have just opened a new eBay/pp account over a week ago. Same way as I usually do and listed one item and now I've reached my limit?? I then requested higher limits, to which it then told me I could only sell 0 items and £0 ?? This the new eBay?? I'm confused..I did have a few problems signing up to pp. It would not accept the mobile number for some reason, so had to add a landline and then was ok. I then added the mobile aswell and was ok once set p. Used same mobile number to list first item also.

Any reasons for this or pretty standard??

Update: I just received an mc999 notice, listing was taken down due to exceeding my limit haha!

However, I then received an email saying I can list even more, from 0....10
0....£650

What the fudge is going on people??

I use landlines with my accounts...Not real landlines but show as landline
