Getting Negative Feedback Removed
 

Have a POS scamming buyer, claims item is damaged yet they won't send pictures of the item or the shipping box. They haven't left negative feedback yet, but I feel it coming on. Under what circumstances will ebay remove negative feedback?

I've had 3 negative's removed in my entire eBay career, by clicking the "report this buyer" button. Plus a few more by calling in.

If eBay feels it's unfair, if the buyer uses profanity, if it's an obvious competitor, etc..

Your chances of getting it removed are better if you call. I don't like calling though. The 3 I've had removed by clicking, I'll report the buyer for as many reasons as can possibly apply. That way the chances are better of someone actually seeing the report.

Keep it civil, tell them that the post office as well as ebay is looking into it.

The idea now is to ass kiss for desired results as well as stand firm.

Wait for photos/images. Scare the buyer by

A) Calling them directly.

B) Letting them know that their local post office MAY call them with a case number for the insurance claim due to the damaged parcel. And that their information has been passed onto the local postal inspector/manager.

Refund the buyer and tell him to keep item. This usually stops me from getting neg feedback.
