Auto VPN Connect on startup?

Hello everyone..

Tried to google and used search in this forum but did not find any good...

I am using 24VC software but I dont find how to make it automatically connect to VPN when windows start up (WIN7).
Is there any software to connect my pc automatically to VPN once windows starts up???

Thank you in advance!

Have you asked 24VC if they support that feature?

Ask 123 about this.. he can probably point you in the right direction.

Otherwise just make sure to check your IP address before logging into eBay/PayPal. I use IPBurger.com to double check IPs before connecting. :)

Hi 3xpx, can simply follow this tutorial:

Windows 7 L2TP VPN Tutorial | 24vc

Note - Even after you set it up to auto connect you should still follow aspkin's advice as its a good practice to double check anyways, you should set Track Your IP Address - IPBurger.com as your browser's startup page so as soon as you open it you can tell if your connected properly

and then to get it to connect on startup follow the instructions below:

• Navigate to the network and sharing center. You can get there via the control panel or by clicking on the network icon in the system tray.
• Click on Manage Network Connections in the bar on the left side of the window.
• Double click on the VPN connection and check the box Save username and password for this user. You must then connect to the VPN so the username and password is saved. Once connected, disconnect.
• Right click the vpn connection icon and click Properties.
• Select the Options tab and uncheck the Display progress while connecting and Prompt for username etc checkboxes. Click OK.
• Click on the Windows start button and type task scheduler and click on it.
• On the menu bar click Action | Create task.
• Give the task a name .e.g "Auto-start VPN".
• Select Run whether user is logged in or not.
• Select Run with the highest privileges.
• Click on the triggers tab and click New. Select At Startup and click OK.
• Click on the Actions tab and click New. Enter "C:\Windows\System32\rasphone.exe" in the program script box (without the quotes). Enter "-d connectionname" ) in the optional arguments (without the quotes). If you have spaces in the name of the connection you created in step 1 then you will need to put quotes around the name.
• Click on the Conditions tab and clear and boxes which are checked.
• Click OK. The task should now be created and will connect to the named VPN connection everytime the system starts up.
