how to safely apply for a ein
 

I understand where to go and apply for a EIN number. but from what im understanding if this is solely for small businesses and that i would have to become a small business in order to do it|?:noidea::help:
or can i somehow register for a self employment one and get by this?
ALSO!
for example if all is possible and i make a ein and my acount gets suspended.....
then can i then apply for another ein with out getting in trouble with the irs?
or what info do i put on that form? this is one thing i cant find the details on how to overcome. any e one have this issue?

You really need to contact an accountant that understands business. The tax implications of structure can be huge depending on YOUR personal needs, assets, other incomes, etc...
