Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

you guys think it's ok to install a brand new install of Firefox portable and just copy and paste that folder and put it in your user accounts? It's like having a fresh install isn't it?

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

Just make a new folder, put the Portable in the folder, run the portable and install it in that folder, simple....that will be $5.99...I take Credit Cards, No PayPal!

Make sure you have flash cookies disabled!

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

Disable flash cookies through the app better privacy - ISO cookies.

Best place to go to to disable them would be here

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

But I put the portable in separate user accts, that should be fine right?

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

Why would you want a portable on a separate user?

JamesNorth101 01-04-2016 01:47 PM

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

Why use FFP is you are using separate user accounts?

I was trying to figure how Google was asking for phone verifications all the time. Lol, can't figure out how they're doing it. I think it actually affects acct creation as well.

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

It's called browser finger printing, having a portable on a new user is no different then using a regular browser on a new user.

I found out the only way to avoid phone verifications with google is to either use internet explorer or create the gmail on a mobile device. It's a hassle on the mobile device but better then getting a phone verification

Are you using iPhone or android? If so which browser? Do u clear cookies then change IP address? I'm using atomic lite for my browser set for automatic clearing of cookies when u close the app. U think that would work?

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

I've used both. And yes u have to clear cookies and change ip. It's the only work around I know. I hate phone verifications.

Clear cookies? Why not just new user id

We are talking about creating a gmail account on a mobile device to avoid phone verification. When's the last time you created a new gmail rsot?

I thought gmail phone verification was because too many gmail accounts being created on same ip.

Well, I just tried again and it was asking for phone verifications again. Goog is tough. Used atomic lite, cleared cookies, iPhone, airplane mode to change ip, even went 3G so have more ip, and still kept asking for phone verifications. Amazing. I had my YouTube app running, so I closed that app down to see if it will work, and it didn't work. I wonder if I have to delete my YouTube app. It's quite amazing how much they can track u.

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

I thought I told you it's browser finger printing, you can only make so many gmails before you need to change everything up, with VMware it's easy also need to watch ip range may need to switch to a new ip source as well

What is the problem with just phone verifying?

Does not take long...

brandnewboss 01-05-2016 05:44 PM

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

You can only phone verify so many times before you need a new number again

JamesNorth101 01-05-2016 05:49 PM

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

Is that really that much of a problem?

In the UK (may be different in the US?) phone numbers are pretty easy to get hold of

Not a problem, just trying a few things to duck them. It's almost like a video game lol. But seriously tho, I think eBay does some browser fingerprinting as well. Just a hunch after making so many gmail and eBay accts.

Gmail accts. google voice, u got to tread carefully too, if u slip, even after u get the verification call, u still can't add number. It will just say there's an error adding you google voice number and you'll never be able to add it.

What kind of conputer do u use? I'm thinking of that Lenovo y700 gaming laptop, 6th gen i7 2.6 ghz, 128 ssd + 1 Tb 5400 rpm, 4gb nvidia, 16gb ram, u think I can run a couple of virtual machines smoothly on that? Plus, which do u prefer? Virtual box or VMware? Thx.

Re: Copy and paste a brand new install of Firefox portable?

Yeah I know I used to buy computer generated gmails by the 100's, I've got over a dozen phones with free changeable numbers, you could also try one of those free text apps for phone ver.

I use vm fusion on a Mac with Xp pro, xp pro is small I think they even have a lite version you should be able to run a few of those on any laptop.

I read Richie2065 and JamesNorth101 post to disable flash cookies.
for amzn stealth purposes...

IF using 1 computer, only 1 user account, and using portable FF rather than a VM to create / manage multiple stealth accounts (each with their own VPN IP) how do you overcome browser fingerprinting? Or is it BF not an issue with portable ff and VPN ip?
