Tmobile $30 Plan? 5GB Data Enough? Large Ip Pool?

I already have comcast in my house, but I can either get a second line or this plan or a mifi for $15 a month. The $5 a month was horribly slow and unreliable.
Found out im in a gray area for verizon (meaning weak signal)

Anyone have tmobile 4g? is there a large pool of Ips? And how fast is it?
Also is 5GB good for a month? I will be Switching between 2 accounts, postings pics, and only doing things related to ebay .

Most prepaid phones don't have a tether option, flashed mifi's have good size ip pools

i have this plan. put it in an unlocked iPhone and the tethering feature will work beautifully.

could be a glitch, but it works. I had it in an iPhone 6 non-jailbroken and now have it in a 4S

Just checked eBay and they got a ton of unlocked iPhones 4's for $100, think I'll try it out.

Being told now, you can only tether 2GB of the 5Gb of data :(

2gb should be enough for 2 accounts or you could just get 2 phones ,1 for each account.

seriously? and you tethered the whole 5gb? Also this is the 5gb data, unlimited texting , 100 minute talking plan. That's what you have to right? (being annoying cautious :bounce: )

Verizon always had a pretty big pool, never tried the prepaid though.

Phone Tethering has nothing to do with the Provider, it has to do with the phone being used. So if you take an Iphone that has the tethering unlocked it will work with any Service...Prepaid or not.

Looks we're making progress tonight, got another mifi on the way, an unlocked iPhone and might even get a flashed Verizon lg, I'm gonna be in ip internet heaven..

not often, but more often than my verizon. Nice large IP pool, you won't be disappointed.

Yea I have Verizon 5 GB plan ($55/month) and I always run out of data around the 20-25 of every month, but I run like 12 accounts. I'm gonna call and see if I can get an extra GB but I know they'll probably make me get a 10GB plan or something. I may just get it bc the kids like to use it when we travel and I'm always low on data doing my eBay stuff lol.

Walmart has a 5Gb plan for $30/month.

This is what I bought and used. Works like a charm only on 1 st month but used 50 gb so far. Similar same ones on amazon as well. Just look for sim first month free $20-$30

Hmmm, wonder if there are tether ready unlocked phones. Could be a market for any of u who knows how to root/jailbreak phones.

Yes tether works in both my non jailbroken iphones I even tried it in my rocket 4g laying around and it works. No rocket 4g speed but hey if it works for youtube it's fast enough. I don't use it for stealth accounts ip pool too small. But i use it for data while traveling and letting the kid watch youtube on the ipad while traveling.

I have t-mobile, I've had bother prepaid and now have regular plan service, I tether/ed through both and it worked/works fine.

For your non jail broken iPhones do u setup that tether option in iTunes? I just saw it in one of those tutorials how to like websites, haven't tried it myself yet. Didn't see any tether option under settings on my iPhone.

Just go to settings and cellular. Personal hotspot will setup on its own there. No itunes setup.

Would the Pre-paid 4G HotSpot Z64 from the t-mobile pre-paid plan be good? or does it not give new IP each use?

Checked it, wasn't there, followed your steps. It just has a button that says enable lte, or whether or not to enable cellular. No button for hotspot. Along the bottom, it shows apps uses cellular data. Does this work for only unlocked phones? Mine is still locked to sprint, but I could use sprint data.

Yes unlocked phones. But even my locked ATT 6 plus personal hotspot works on net10 straight talk etc. My verizon works on the same plus tmobile simple mobile etc. I bet it's sprint. They charge extra for hotspot.

Hotspot on att and t-mobile needed to be set up through the carrier, at least as of a year ago for me.
