URGENT HELP WITH STEALTH ACCOUNT - Please respond!
 

Hi guys! I just bought stealth account and changed all info on eBay account including name and address etc. account is 3 weeks old and is 25000/1000 limits.

But I believe this flagged the account! Is it toast? I also changed PayPal email Address & billing address/account address and password from stealth and matched new address with VVC attached. Is my eBay finished? Should I change the info back? (Or just change full name back) and what are the odds?

PS: I changed just about everything (90% of info)

Why? What inspired doing that?

Standard and known practice to avoid changing info to avoid flagging accounts.

If you purchased from here, what instructions did your seller offer?

Do not alter one more thing.

You may expect a reaction. What do you expect ebay/paypal to think?
Oh look new account, all info changed.... Is this a hacked account?
Time will tell.

Should I just continue to browse and let them trust my cookies after changed info etc. to at least make things better?

I'll post my first item on Sunday and see what they do.

Have you gotten anything on the account yet? MC anything?

What you did is EXTREMELY risky.

Me personally; I wouldn't touch another thing, I wouldn't change anything back... I would just start immediately browsing, bidding, reading/posting on the discussion board, reading help pages.

I wouldn't think about selling on that account for AT LEAST 30 days. Losing a 25k item limit stealth account would be painful.

Always good to browse and build up history. Not sure why you are rushing to sell ....

Hope your first item is low priced as well.

The longer you wait, the better-- I'd say a minimum of 30 days before you consider listing... I'd probably wait 90 days, and there's no guarantee you're going to be safe then. There really isn't a lot of cases to compare to where someone suddenly changed all the information in the account.

From my understanding, when you list your first item on any account, eBay bots are going to check it, and they're going to factor in all the risks (item type/brand/value, account information, paypal status) and if they don't like what they see, they're going to take it down and 0/0 your account, forcing you to call in and you'll get a human review...

You can usually overcome the phone-call but explaining why the account was opened with one persons info and then suddenly completely change is gonna be rough, if it gets to that point likely they'll decided it's too much risk and issue a MC999 indefinite restriction.

Make sure you never do that again with a brand new purchased account.

specially after changing the IP as well, no cookies or history,,,100% you will have the biggest flag ever known

I'll just with 30 days build an account from scratch. Thanks guys for everything !
