First drop shipping sale!
 

Just got my sale drop shipping!

Made a $75 profit too. :FF:

I most defiantly won't be making this a long term business move NOR is this even a fraction of my REAL inventory. It seems like most sellers either commit or don't do it at all. In other words their entire inventory is drop shipping which is OBVIOUS.

I think having that little mix of drop shipping (if you can find a good one) will allow you another method of getting $$ and can't realistically kill an account. Sure I might have some slight issues with shipping, I know this already. I figure if I get some super mad customer I'll just refund them then give them a credit of $10 free or something....It's going to probably end up being a MAX 2 week delivery time frame which isn't great but I have enough sales to counter any issues that could arise.

Having a free $500 bucks a week is pretty nice doing NOTHING. I almost feels like stealing. ALOT of stores do this so I do know its apart of business. I have TRS and amazing feedback so doing this with a few items seems like a good move.

dropshipping is good if you want to find popular products without investing any capital. but long term you are better off getting own supply.

I just got through drop shipping an item a couple days ago, not something I normally do but it's nice to do once in awhile to fill in the gaps..

Yeah its just nice not having to invest all my money into products. That's what I've done for the past year. Literally all money money goes right back into building the inventory BUT adding this to my ever expanding methods of getting money is NICE.

Sure I could drop 1 grand and flip it into around 2.5K but who knows when I get that 2.5K. Almost all my stuff sells but some takes 3-5 months, even longer. This almost seems to good to be true haha.

I NOW understand why ebay hates drop shippers haha. All the questions about "where do you get your stuff" "where do you ship" did you take your pictures" makes 100% sense.

Feels like taking candy from a baby :d

The only problem with drop shipping is WHEN you have a problem. The buyer keeps asking and waiting and your shipper leaves you hanging. Do that on 10-20 items in a week and you have a problem.

Also, IF you are using a company, it makes it much more reliable. I worked with someone last year and every month or two that person had a personal issue. When they got sick or had to move or got overwhelmed with orders, 100% of the time it cost me accounts. I loved making the free money and hatted the aggravation at the same time.

OH... and the 180 day holds really messed up my cashflow lol

Anytime you purchase a drop ship item, make sure to go through ebates.com first! Many stores give anywhere from 1% to 9% back on purchases.

I made $ 400 from ebates.com in December from all my drop shipping purchases! And then they send you a nice check in the mail!

I guess its one of those things that... If you have to and put in the effort to figure out how to do it, you can easily do it. Unfortunately I just don't even know where to start!

Yes, buying direct from retail stores and increasing the price by $ 10 - 20 when I sell on eBay.

Amazon, Overstock, Toys R us, Sears, Newegg. You name it, most stores are on ebates.com. And it's free to sign up! Whether it be for my own purchases or drop shipping, I never buy anything online without going through ebates.com first!

Lot depends on dropshipper's location, quality....tough to make sure without trial or knowing the reputation in advance, sadly.

Well my current one that got me the sale is off an outlet site. Not the best because it does increase the delay of shipment and I will NOT drop ship directly to my customers address.

I'm placing the order same day as they make it to ME and then I ship via priority to them. If they complain which they have the right to I'm pretty sure I can handle any issue. Of course some maybe not but that's the price for FREE money.

I'm taking things slow as I usually do when it comes to things like this. And I don't plan on processing 10 orders a week doing this. Maybe once in a while but that would be the max. Since I added a EIN I can counter any negative with selling cheap stuff as I'm doing now.

People can also be forgiving when it comes to SHIPPING if your TRS. You just gotta make sound like it was a honest mistake. :suspicious:

I buy almost everything on eBay, ordered a Box of supply from a top rated seller and it came straight from SAMs Club, so yeah drop shipping is common even for big time sellers.

nice. Theres serious money to be made dropshopping. I just use terraspeak and find other dropshippers, check their best selling products and upload them. We have a nasty sales tax in the UK after you turnover over 82k per year which I hit in less than 2 months on 2 new 1000 item accounts with zero feedback but very easy to sell 1 million per year with a 10% profit if you're not in the EU

Hahaha YES!

I just used ebates. I get 4% cashback off the website I use AND I got free shipping.

All for doing essentially nothing. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
