Importance of linked verified Paypal account
 

Hello,

How important is it to link a verified paypal account to an eBay seller account (without verified merchant account docs)?

My recent tests have shown that I immediately get suspended if I choose to pay fees via credit card without a linked verified Paypal account attached to my eBay account.

I didn't exactly make my first post clear.

I sell iPhones, and those are high-dollar items by default on eBay, which is why the verified PP linked account is required.

I as well have to link a verified paypal account because of what items I sell.

That's been the case for the past 13 months with this catergory. Pain as well.

Jeez, why don't people tell me these things?

Next time I switch categories, I'm asking around.

Good idea. Always research the area you want to make profit from to be aware of any handicaps.:)

what type is your account? pre 11/07 or post one ?
i sell the GPS without linking my PayPal account to the Ebay one.
i choose pay only with the cc.

if you want to sell internationally ebay will require to link with paypal

If you don't sell internationally will you still need to link a pp account with your ebay acc then?

If you sell high risk items such as electronics and high end clothes, then yes.
