Help needed , UK eBay seller

Thank you for reading my post

I have been working on my account for 6/7 weeks now to get a top rated account , I fell short by 1 detailed seller rating on dispatch time which was very frustrating , as you probably know only dsr are only used on buyers who leave feedback not on transactions so when starting out its very hard to receive volume of feedback against sales made.

I have until 31st january to get my ratings below 4% on delivery which is around 100 customers to leave feedback , this will get my account to top rated for next month , I would have to wait another 3 months so the bad ratings I recieved are not used , I have no bad feedback and I don't know why I recieved late delivery as I sent everything within 24 hours and 1st class:(

Any advise appreciated

Your best bet will be to put up a lot of cheap 0.99p items and post them all 1st class

You may well make a loss on the sales, but it will help boost your ratings

I have done this for 100 at 99p but I can't afford to do that again for another 100 plus not guaranteed that I receive feedback maybe get 20% or so, really starting for zero this time round

Sell cheap items that are cheap to ship to get fast feedback

Only have 11 days so will need to sell 400 items plus to get say 30% of customers to leave feedBack

It look ole I just have to be patience and wait few months if this isn't possible
As can't afford to send cheap items and post them at the moment

Another options you have is just to message previous buyers who have not left feedback asking them to leave feedback

I do this once a month with most accounts and tend to get a pretty good responce

Just be careful no one complains to ebay about feedback manipulation, it happened to me a few month back even though i never actually manipulated the person, some weirdos on ebay :juggle:

That is an odd one

Some people are just a bit.... sensative?

They are usually the same people who complain that their 99p item did not arrive Monday morning when ordered at 11pm on a Sunday!

Are you following me on ebay lmao? someone left me a negative recently for exactly that, they ordered something saturday evening, next available time i could post is obvously monday, so left me a negative saying my shipping was slow haha. hate ebay and people some times......(most times).....(all the time)

that feedback is removable if you contact support

Also am unsure what the importance of being top rated is to be honest

Stop wasting loads of money to get top rated. Even if you get it you'll have to continue wasting money to keep it.

I wil give them a call but I thought you had to have 1000 sales to get feedback or ratings removed

I would give chat a go first if you want to go down that route

No min feedback neded to have feedback removed
