Why is ebay over charging me on fees big time?.
 

So I had a store open. I sold the item and they charged me $6 for a $65 item. It should have only been $2.85 cents according to the fee calculator. I just recently opened the store aswel. Is it because I had the item listed before I opened the store?.

I believe eB charges a 10% FVF without a store. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I used an eB calculator (https://salecalc.com/) using a sale price of $65.00 and the FVR without a store is $6.50 and $5.85 with a basic store.

I also used http://www.newlifeauctions.com/calc.html and this is the result:

It's obvious that whatever fee calculator you used is not accurate so I provided links to two other fee calculators that are accurate.

It would be easy enough for you to follow the links I provided and input the information for your sale using both the store option and the non-store option. Should I have posted a screen shot of both (store and non-store) for your convenience?

Ok just learned ebay stores don't do much at all. It's 9% instead of 10% . Great... Wait to go, ebay.

Had same issue...Been selling alot of items I have a store...

Without a store its 10% with store its 8%.

They been charging me 10% on all sales, and some items 8%. I called eBay explained to them.

My eBay bill went from $326 down to $204. They adjusted and credited me. I'd like to know what issue is however. I dont want to have to call and rattle off item numbers.

Ebay fees are crazy, but worth it for the size of the market.

Last time I called into eBay and discussed fees they had overcharged me by about £65 in total similar to mentioned above, spoke to a guy named Gordon, sorted it for me. :thumb:
