Safe way to research on eBay?
 

Hi everyone. First of all thanks for the help.

So... Before I got suspended I used to operate from my iPhone alot... Mainly to check market prices on eBay (active items and ended listings) to find out if the items im going to get sell well or not... Now that I have been advised to not use eBay from my phone, or the App... Whats a good way to use the eBay website from my phone to check ended listings or that kind of stuff? Can I open the eBay browser from Safari not logging in? That will not put in risk my account because of the IP or anything right? I really wish I could use the App... What about if I reset my iPhone? Will it not be possible? I want to clarify that I only use 1 account and its been created with the details of a family member... So everything on it its actually real.

You can still use the phone but just not with the App. I would suggest getting a web browser for your phone. You can use the default Browser or other browser. Technically speaking I don't think you even need to have an account to do research. All you really need to do is change your IP and should be good to go.

I got the browser thats recommended on the guide. However, can I use the eBay website on Safari not being logged on my account?

Is it necessary also disable images on emails? Can they track me because of that? Thanks MM78 your help never goes unnoticed :clap:

I use atomic lite web browser on my iPhone, turn on private mode. Try and use cell data instead of wifi, because your wifi would most likely link you. Never had been linked before by doing this.

Download Chrome/Firefox for your iPhone/iPad, and whenever you want to check something on eBay, turn off wifi to let it use data from 4G/LTE

So... even to research not being logged in the account I need to change the IP? Is it really necessary? Can I not just open safari, not log into the account and research? Thanks again guys!

Yea I wouldn't use safari because it has all your personal stuff on there, for example if you want to log in to your bank account, your bank puts cookies in there and it doesn't like it when u clean your cookies. Just use another browser like atomic lite, set on private browsing and it doesn't even matter what your ip is, just don't login to your account.

Thank you glacier922. Thats what I will do then. I will use Firefox on my iPhone on private browsing without logging! I just really miss the days of using the app... That was the most convenient thing for me.

I use my phone everyday to look on eBay and check hot products which are selling. My phone is linked to my ip which was suspended but I operate my stealth accounts from my pc which all have different dedicated IP addresses. I never use my phone to buy and sell or to operate my stealth accounts only use it to browse through the eBay website to look for hot products.
