New eBay account listing items
 

I am going to buy the eBay stealth guide soon and I was wondering how long should I wait to list new items on a new eBay account :)

3 days to a week, if this is your first account list after a week or so after you have logged in to the account with its new ip.

I've noticed all the accounts sold on the marketplace here have been aged 30 days. The forum agrees it's not a good idea to list things on a brand new account. Most "legit" ebay users do not become sellers on the first day, or even the first week. Once you make an account spend a week or two browsing around. Watch a few items, ask a seller or two a question about an item for sale, etc. Then after 30 days or so, turn your account into a seller account and list your first "low-risk" item.

depends on what you sell. i list right away and sometimes list in other categories to get around the 5 limit. pretty easy.

I agree I wait at least 30 days to start selling on a new account that way I don't have to worry about being restricted and then calling in to get the restriction removed.

It can be done selling after a couple of days but personally I would wait 30 days :)

I prefer 2-4 weeks of browsing and bidding before starting sales on an eb account - preference of mine

I usually wait a minimum of 15 days, I do make sure I get cookies and some browsing in before making a listing. Also, don't go with custom html templates or previously used templates right away.
