Can you work outside of your own country?
 

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I wanted to go abroad can I take my laptop and still run my stealth accounts using another internet provider?

Yes, connect via a VPN being the easiest way to do that

Make sure you choose the VPN carefully though!

That's brilliant news I use a good VPN service now which has other countries :)

So if I went to America I could just tap into the hotel wifi then select an American VPN from my VPN provider and everything will be OK?

So long as its not an abused VPN then yep that's job done :)

Just make sure its a UK IP being used through the VPN

You want to travel abroad and still operate your existing accounts?
If so, use the same VPN from your country.

Yes I want to travel and still operate my accounts. I forgot about that tho I can still use my VPN from my country in another country.

That is what you have to do. DO NOT log in from another countries IP. It can be a huge security alert and cause all sorts of problems.

Avoid using hotel wifi. You actually are not quite understanding how this needs to work.

Please be very careful of how you do this.

You can not chance signing into any accouny with a strange IP.

Couple of questions:

How long will you be away

How many accounts are you running

A couple of weeks being away.

I have 5 stealth accounts.

I went to Spain last year but didn't take my laptop as I was nervous I might lose my accounts.

Thanks and no I can't my business is not automated I dont have a shop its done by hand I wrap the parcels I post the parcels I do everything I prefer to do the nitty gritty stuff.

Can I not use my Vpn I'm using at home in America?

I can still use my UK ip I use over their can't I as I can select it once I get over their?

I use my Vpn here for other countries like I change the VPN to America so I can watch the football works fine.

You will be fine using your VPN in the USA. Keep in mind though that depending on your VPN, it may not work with risky Hotel Internet. You might have to go to another public wifi or tether off your smart phone.

I did this many time for eBay and PayPal. With eBay I can get a security page that requires me to confirm my phone number again in order to proceed.

Paypal has limited my account sometimes in such cases (most of the time nothing happens). Only thing I was required to do by then is call them and tell them I was on vacation.

So in both cases it is actually to protect you, however it is better to be safe than sorry.

sometimes over risky wifi like hotel u have to do like a SSL or SSH tunnel then ur VPN
