where can i buy a gift card with a gift card?
 

been buying $25 and $50 gift cards for ebay and paypal verification. but recently kroger refsed to let me buy anymore.

so i started going to walgreens last week and all was fine until now. now i am being refused to buy more cards with my other cards.

this is very annoying as i only use the cards to verify and sometimes buy stuff. and im not sure of any convienint ways to get the cash off the card.

Stripe.com - square.com - ccnow - even pp (discretely)....services that can be used to cashout Visa, MC, Amex gift cards from my own experience.

Gas, groceries, lunch, dinner, beverages, movie tickets, and so on and so fourth.

I buy a VCC, and spend it the same day.

What is so frustrating?

Vanilla cards work great for gas, as long as you register the card online with a zip first.

Paying at the pump with a visa vanilla allows you to get every last cent spent, it will not shut off until you either stop pumping gas or the card is depleted. You do not need to enter in any specific amount just pay at pump and it will dispense whatever is on the card, which is also a nice way to spend small balances over multiple cards without involving anyone else

i get gas for 50-75 cents/gallon. that will take forever. on the other hand ill never pay for gas again.

Where do you get gas that cheap?? The 2 states around me its going from $1.67 - 1.99 per gallon . .50 cents per gallon ???

Its $2.65 over here in Victorville, CA. Its 1.61 over in Tulsa, OK (home). Good thing I go back home tomorrow.

He's using Kroger points to get gas cheaper. Buy gift cards at Kroger and get points to use for discount gas. 100 points = 10 cents off

somebody figured it out. but now i am having trouble since i cant use whats left to buy another. something about fraud or some ****. pisses me off enough to want to join the crowd.

Most stores will not accept credit card payments for gift cards. This is because credit card thieves were using this as a way to cash out stolen credit cards - by buying gift cards, thus making the money semi-legitimate. The stores that DO allow it will not continue to allow you to buy gift cards with credit cards. When on old lady who shops there all the time wants one for $50 to send to her grandson for his birthday, they will allow her to pay by credit card. But if you do it too often, then they worry about fraud.

Square.com will cancel your account if you process too many gift cards, as they consider it to be high risk activity. I know this because I have had one closed for that.

I jsut use them for randon purchases. Gas, fast food, at the dollar store. Wherever.

nope. the system ends up requiring assistance from cashier and they straight up tell me the manager said not to allow me to do it anymore. and that any cashier caught letting me do so will be fired.

Sam's Club's system allows you to purchase Visa and MasterCard gift cards with store gift cards if you go through self checkout; so I'm assuming purchasing with another Visa or MasterCard gift card would work too.

My kroger still allows me to buy gift cards with gift cards. I do it through the self check out.

surprised this topic is still going. my solution was to send the money on the cards to my withdraw accounts and do it that way. have had zero thats 000 problems thus far. i have sent around a thousand.

i also had a square account and tried processing my 67 or so cards and ended up having to refund them all and the account got locked.

best to stick with paypal, as sick as they are.
