Handle returns
 

Hi all.Please help with a return request.
I recently sold an item and buyer opened a case, stating size does not fit.Usually shipping fee will be paid by the buyer when it states size does not fit.But the reason he chose is item does not match the description to avoid return shipping cost.I am not a US seller nor do i have a warehouse in the US,returning item will cost more than the total amount of the order.So,i replied and asked the buyer to cut the item into pieces and then issue a full refund.
However,he refused,he wanted either full refund without returning item or send item back(I pay shipping cost).
How can i convince him to destroy the item.I know i will surely lose money,but I don,t feel comfortable to give him my item for free.

Was the item expensive? If not I would just give the buyer a refund.
