What should I do? Should I given up?
Buyer bought a drone from me.
Then on January 28th he sent me message at 8.38am EST that he already received the drone but got problem with battery leaked out. I went to check on UPS site, item still on the way (UPS show item was delivered at 14:40pm EST on January 28th signed by him).
However, I said nothing but ask him to sent me photos, and he sent in the night.
I asked him if anything wrong with its box and if he can remove that battery and throw away. He said yes, he can do.
But when I told him that I will sent return label so that he can return and I will send the new one or give his money back. Then he say he already bought the new one because he need it as gift for someone. He also said he already visited UPS in the morning, and UPS will not accept hazadous item. Plus he already asked all shippers and no one want to accept it.
However, I did talk with UPS, they can ship if remove that battery out.
I told him I can get UPS to his place, if not UPS then will be someone from my company. Then he start saying, he did talk with eBay and eBay recommended to discard item.
After that he open return request, I provide all photos, screen short of his first email to me which showing time, screen short of delivery time on UPS. I comment on his photo which look like photoshop work. And sent him return label, add tracking number to the case.
But at the end, he ask eBay to step in (1 hr ago) and within 1 hr, ebay refund money back to him. Cannot explain how I feel... I appealing a case, but feel more hopeless...
The dark side of myself tell me to sell for one more month and run away with eBay fee... |
