Unbelievable...I am pissed beyond belief (account restricted)
 

I received a lovely notice from ebay today stating that I can no longer sell items on ebay today because my seller level is below the standard in the global shipping program.
My seller status is above standard in every single category except for the global shipping program, when I spoke with an ebay rep some months ago they CLEARLY stated to me that even if I have a below standard rating in the global program it would NOT effect my ability to sell.
I have 100% positive feedback, I literally bend over backwards to help customers and have lost money so many times.
My selling limits at 50k/month.
I appealed the case of course...but realistically what are my chances of getting reinstated....-5%?
I was net profiting minimum $500/day...and now....nothing.
All my inventory is sitting in my garage.
Is there ANY possibility that my account may get reinstated whatsoever?

The worst part is even if I do open up some stealth accounts..I wont be able to start selling the items that were profitable for me because it will raise a red flag and they will close my account again. In addition it will take forever to build up to the point where I was....and frankly I don't have the patience to wait 6 months to 1 year.

Sadly your story is just one of many on this forum....as I've said to others in the same boat....FIGHT! don't stop calling. Call, call, call, call, call, email, Facebook, whatever it takes to get the account back.

Some have....but you won't know if you don't fight for your account. I've heard people say they put 100% into fighting for their accounts. It's a bit impossible to put a % on how many have recovered their accounts...only because every account is different.

Was this account Stealth or legit?

Then fight for your account.....now if you don't want to fight for it....you can give it to me and I will fight for it and keep it for myself! lol jk....but seriously, don't give up. In the meantime, I would suggest you make some stealths and sell on those.

Even if I sell on the stealths, I cannot sell the products I was selling before correct?

You can sell the same products but you have to take new photos and create a new listing... you wouldn't want to word it/format it the exact same way you did on your suspended account.

What exactly pushed you into below standard in the global section?

I sell the same items from the same accounts that was banned and I am still going strong and stronger this year.

"item does not match the description"

I had 3 cases which were "cases resolved without seller resolution" which pushed me to below standard in the global shipping program.

If I had just one of these drop off I would be in the clear.

The WORST part about it is the fact that 2 out of the 3 cases were NOT my fault WHATSOEVER.
Two of the cases were for item being "not as described," which is knew was complete b.s., so I asked the seller to describe how the item was not as described and if course not response and eventually ebay just decides in favor of the buyer.

In addition to this, the ebay customer support stated to me that I cant even appeal these 2 cases because its been "too long" since they happened so theres nothing they can do even if it was the buyers fault....thats aamzing.

Just out of curiousity......what "type" of item(s) were you selling?...no need to go into details. Some items may need to wait if they are expensive or classified as High Risk. On brand new accounts....you have to take them slow and build up to certain type of items. Also, some items are in risk of "Category" limits as well.

Brand name consumer electronics...Apple and Samsung primarily.

Yeah, your going to have a lot of obstacles in those areas. Your first obstacle is going to be the VERO agents, and category limits.

can you sell a bunch of cheap stuff at bargain price?

if I get a neg or a defect, I jump in and I sell 10-20 extra items I would not ordinarily have bothered with as no profit on them to counterbalance.

These are Agents hired by major brands or any brand to monitor EBay for items they feel should not be sold on eBay, does not matter if the items are legit or phake...they have the power to take your listings down any time they want.
