When can I buy an item on eBay!
 

Hi everyone,

I have a few accounts I never normally buy anything on eBay just use it for selling.

I need to buy some Jiffy bags as the shop doesn't have any. I was going to use one of my accounts to buy them but it's not very old only about 2 months and limits arnt lifted and invoices havnt been sent through on this account.

Is it safe to buy an item on eBay using this account without triggering a PayPal limitation? As I don't really want a PayPal limitation to deal with right now.

I use new accounts like this to buy provisions for business.

Do you have access to the address for delivery?

I separate my buying and selling account

Just not worth the risk of loosing a very good buying or selling account by mixing them up

Should be fine to buy from day 1 but as long as you not using an address that has been banned before.

I'm not using the same address for my eBay account but I will message the seller to post the Jiffy bags to my real address?

Is that an ok thing to do?

You run the risk of the seller reporting you.

Yes I do have random addresses as my address was suspended.

How would I buy something off eBay when my address is banned?

you need to get a NEW address ( like a forwarding address)
if you message a seller to post to another location, you account will probably get flagged,
but also sellers do not post to address that are not on the order or they lose their seller protection.

Not a good move

Your best off getting a new address and then making a new account and using it as just a buyers account

Or just buy from Amazon / any other site that is not eBay. Lots about :thumb:

I found AMAZON cheaper for buying jiffy bags.. packs of 100, though this might be dictated by the size you require

Just get a po box - good to receive and send from
