eBay deleted my inactive account(s)!
There's a couple of accounts I hadn't used since October-November of 2012. These were accounts where I took a tiny loss in profit on some cheap, generic bracelet items just so I could get 10 SELLER feedback on them. Both had 5 or 10k monthly limits as well.
I was getting ready to use them again. But I wanted to check to make sure which account was which, how many feedback on each, etc.. I don't have a VPS set up at the moment, so I figured out a little "work around" to check them out.
I logged into the e-mail accounts associated with each username, using Thunderbird (making sure not to link with IP or anything). Then I found an e-mail notification from PayPal which had the username of someone who bought from me back in 2012. So I copy & pasted their username into eBay so I could check their profile to look for the feedback I originally left them, which would simultaneously show me my username & feedback amount.
Thankfully the buyer wasn't very active and only had 17 feedback - so I scrolled down and recognized what was definitely my wording for a feedback I had given her back in 2012. Then I look over to the right... and the username was like this: 98535574743787@deleted (10) ! -------- They deleted my account!
I noticed this for 2 of my "favorite" stealth accounts!
Is there any way to get my account back? If I simply try to log in, will the account automatically be restored? Would I have to call them? I'd like to know before I pay $15 each for a VPS.
