windows 7 user accounts glitch
 

i have roughly 70 user accounts on my windows 7. but i have encountered an error that i can't fix. when i click on manage accounts i get an outline with a blank box. i have tried deleting specific accounts through the folders section but the icons on the startup menu dont go away and the manage accounts screen stays blank.

i have also tried a system restore which doesn't work.

checked some topics here but most are locked with subscriber only which i cant view even though i've bought the stealth guide twice.

There are 2 more ways to continue making user accounts when the default one fails.

I'll give you the 1st one and see if you can continue making new user accounts..

Assuming you only have 1 account that has administrator privileges, you just need to go to another account that doesn't and assign it with administrator privileges.

Then you can continue to make new user accounts off that account.

If that doesn't work, I'll give you the last option. :)

all of my accounts are admins.

I have the same problem with windows 8.1, can't make anymore user accounts, I have about 200. I found a way you can make new user accounts with the dos command prompt. Just run cmd as admin and type: net user [account user name] [password] /add

And then hit enter, I get all my new user accounts this way now, much faster.

how about erasing accounts so they dont appear on the startup page?

Try going into safe mode and delete your accounts this way.

command for delete user account is: "net user 'name of user account' /DELETE"

Type 'netplwiz' in the command prompt......

a window will open up and use that to add or remove windows users.

You can also search for 'netplwiz.exe' in your windows folder and create a shortcut.

IF you do use this method, you need to manually delete the specific windows user folder for the account you have deleted.

Creating accounts with this method is as normal.
