Noob tips: I want to dropshipping on eBay US. Do I need a Stealth Account?
 

Hi all,

I just discovered this forum and after reading a couple of threads, it seems very useful!

I started recently dropshipping on ebay UK and have opened 3 accounts so far. Selling has started of OK but I still have strict selling limits which slow me down quite a bit.

Instead of putting all eggs in one basket, I thought I should start doing the same in the US. However, I am looking for some tips from you pro's on which would be the best way to get started.

1. Could I just open a eBay US account and link it to my same UK PayPal and start selling? Will my eBay UK and US eBay accounts be linked if I do this?

2. Or would you recommend me opening a stealth account? If yes, then I shall educate myself about the subject properly before asking any specifics. For the record, I am doing everything legit and haven't been ever suspended from ebay or paypal.

You will need a whole new stealth account. Most likley multiple with what you're trying to do. Make sure you are on a u.s. ip that is clean, check the market place for vpns.
U.s ebay with u.s paypal. You will need u.s bank to withdraw also.

Thanks for the tips! Getting an US account might be a bit difficult.

My main concern is, however, that do I really need a stealth account when what I'm doing is pretty much legit and I have never been suspended?

Can a non-US PayPal be linked to eBay US - I could use e.g. my girlfriends details for it, but the problem is none of us have ever even been to the US.

I would avoid linking any of your account. LINK is a very pain-in-the-youknowwhat word for sellers. Educate yourself and start stealth accounts!
