can ebay members see your phone number?
 

I just had an ebay member phone me, how can I change my phone number on ebay or stop ebay members from calling?

edit: i'm an idiot it's under the address in account preferences.

What makes you think that an ebay user contacting you is going to sell your phone number? Thread title is a bit strange.;) Contact Live Help and tell them that this is your concern.See what they offer:rolleyes:

That happened to a friend of mine back in like 2001. Just change your number to a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one or invert the numbers. Members you've had a transaction with can request your personal info from ebay and they give it to them.

I have had sellers call me after they had paid and got message from ebay that the listing has been canceled. They just wanted to make sure that I will still ship it out so they dont have to do a pp dispute:bounce:

happens to me, cos they want item badly, are looking forward to it and have paid for it, they email though.

I once called a buyer as she kept on emailing me with questions, she got the shock of her life as no one had ever phoned her before, got her life story, poor thing, bit lonely, upside is she buys practically everything I sell on that account!! A good stalker for a change...

I have had calls from ebay buyers and I belive they call ebay and ebay gives them your number.

Does any one know if its the same for your address?

Can a ebay buyer see your address right after they purchased something from you?
