new ebay account

Hi. I just recently set up a new stealth account t on ebay. I don't want to jump into sales at the rate I was doing before I got shut down (5 items a day, and I only sell 1 item). I was just wondering if anyone has suggestions how slow I should go not to raise suspicions. (the account has had sales over 3 months ago, so it isn't a limited account anymore)

Why would there be? It is a perfectly sensible question.

If you made it past the first 90 days without issue you're already off to a good start... the monthly dollar amount is a more important figure than total items sold.

You'll get a better answer if you let us know how much you've sold in those 3 months.

But some conservative numbers I like: on a new account, for first month, I try to stay around $500... for the next 2 months I increase by $500 each month. From month 4, I'll increase by 1k monthly until month 6.

After month 6, depending on how comfy I feel overall with the account, I can start 3k bimonthly increases. Personally I don't think it's wise to be pushing 20k in a single month the first year.

This plan is for setting up a big account, so remember to figure out how you'll be handling the tax situation on paypal... don't wait until the last second.
