Virtual CC with the same billing address
 

Hi, i just generate a virtual cc from my bank, but it has the same billing address as my old restricted ebay account (The cc on the old account has the same billing address). Does it matter if i put a virtual cc on paypal with the same billing address. Is this going to link my restricted ebay account? Thanks!

It would create a link in Paypal which could eventually lead to an eBay link.

Why not just use a vanilla Visa? With those you can enter any address in paypal. They will pass AVS as long as you register the card on onevanilla.com with the zip code of the address you're going to use in paypal.

Another thing you can do is change your registered address on your account to match your stealth (at least the ZIP CODE and HOUSE NUMBER), AVS doesn't verify the name.

Unlike ama, pp only verifies the card once (unless you try to pay something with it, or change the associated address), so you're free to change the registered address back to your legit once after it's verified.

I've done this with my citi card a few times (citi allows you to make unlimited amounts of virtual cards)... the only thing I'm not clear on is if this can be viewed as problematic by the company-- switching addresses a lot ect. So far so good, though.

That's a useful suggestion. I'm always looking for vanilla visa alternatives because I think we all know those won't work forever.

I'd be careful messing around with a big bank like that though. Before I had my accounts closed by Bank of America, banking issues were the furthest thing from my mind. But it REALLY messed me up when they did close them, mostly because I never saw it coming. Try not to look suspicious!

Hi, i just bought 2 vanilla gift cards yesterday, and when i sign in i can only assign a zip code. how to register the card with an address?

No need to register the address, just register the zipcode...that's it.
