UK IP Address for Stealth Account?!
 

Can someone from the UK (as I know its different in US) help me with the IP for stealth accounts.

I am going to try and create my stealth account today but I keep reading loads of different things about IP and how you need to change it every single time you go to sign on.

I still have my original eBay account but I am making a secondary stealth account so does this mean every time I switch between the two accounts I need to change my IP address?

I have a BT wifi router and I have read that to change your IP address all you need to do is basically turn it off and back on again and you will assigned a new IP? Is this the easiest way of doing it? And do eBay not catch on that everytime you sign on to your account you have a different IP address? Because once eBay contacted me believing I had been hacked because I was signed on with a different IP address they said?

Also is it ok to use the same computer for both your eBay accounts? I have a mac if that makes a difference.

If you can be as thorough with your answers as possible it would be good because I really have no clue when it comes to this type of thing. Thank you!

1. Reset your home internet connection - by pulling the plug out. Go to IPBURGER.com note it down then reset and do that again.

2. Yes same computer is fine, new user accounts works well.

3. Instead of using your home internet and resetting that, you could buy from 24vc.com they have a very solid service OR you could also use a mobile dongle where you top it up with data
