eBay just increase my items but not amount.
 

Today I feel so exciting when I notice email from eBay "Now you can list even more", immediately click to read, very happy with first sentence:
Congratulations! You've been doing a great job selling on eBay... blah blah..

They increase my item from 750 to 2600 a month. - Yeah Good!!!
BUT amount remain $10000. - What!!!!??

Before this increase I had 750/$10000.
5 days till the end of the month, I only have about $1000 left.
Most of my item are showing out of stock, a bit scare about ranking.

I was about to call them to increase limits several times but after reading some threads here, I thought I would be better to wait.
And now they increase my limit from 750/$10000 to 2600/$10000.
Thought there was technical problem somewhere?
I think I have to call them today.
Anyone had this same problem before? Thank you.

Take it as a good sign, you can actually go over the amount limit if you start listing items as auctions $0.99 and the ending price is $100+ so that would be 100 x 2600 = lots.

Do you think should I call them?
I did not sell any high risk item here.
Some I buy some produce myself.

$10,000 a month is a very very good limit.

Do you want to risk that by phoning?

Then be happy that they did and keep doing what youre doing and more increases will come.
Do not call ebay. Do NOT attract unnecessary attention to your account.

are you selling 10 grand a month? i doubt it. if you were then you would've had a $ increase.

This account has nice limits already.....don't push it too much, if you want more, just create more stealths.

Yes, last month and this month that I reach that.

Before they gave me this 2600 items, I still have 75 items I can list but the amount is 0. Would be better if they increase $ not items. lol
I have to revise the one that get like one sale a week to 0 and add to the one that get sale everyday.

Today, I still have some to sell but tomorrow till the end of the month will have nothing left to sell on this account.

The last 2 months a few of my accounts have been showing this same limit increase where items have been increased but not the dollar amount.

But the accounts that have received the item increases have received the dollar increase the following month.

So you may see that dollar increase next month

Interesting find Dmshark25 - i haven't had notifications of increases in some time even for a limit of 10 type account

I'm not familer with your country and how eBay screens accounts I wouldn't call.

In the US, it's easier than taking candy from a toddler, but I'm not familiar with other countries. They might screen heavily. As others have said, you have nice limits, and it sounds like you're still not hitting the dollar amounts anyways, as you have 10% left each month.

Just list to the max and the limits should increase again eventually.

I see this all the time, the item limits increase but not the dollar amounts. My items are low value, and I never really hit the dollar limits anyway so it doesn't matter in my case.

I've had many accounts where between active listings and sold items I hit the item limit and EB won't let me renew sold listings if something sells, and then I have to manually re-list those at the beginning of the next month.

It never seems to hurt the rankings, though.

I agree, open some new accounts, you need to spread around your risk anyway.

Was your dollar amount increased the same date?
I mean, my account got items increased on February 24th, should dollar amount increase on March 24th?
If yes, then I am hopeless. lol
Because they didn't increase my dollar amount and at moment I am totally at "0".

Increases can happen anytime during the month.
