ebay fee circumvention that really upset me

Sorry guys I am not registered, paying member, whatever, I have an account, but this all could end soon, lol.

I listed some auto parts on ebay, and I didn't know that I can not say that I am charging extra for handling to cover my ebay and paypal fees, which are by the way, 12% for final value and about 1.50 for paypal, plus .35 for listing, darn!

So, I included a nice paragraph to let my buyers know where the charges coming from. I said I'm charging actual USPS shipping rates plus .18 delivery confirmation, plus ebay listing fee, plus ebay final value fee, plus paypal fee. They removed my listings. :( This is so unfair. They want me to include those fees in starting price, which is just a rip off, because I will be charged more and sell less.
This whole eBay thing getting bad people.

Have you seen their stock slid down since the implementation of those new rules last April? It just went down and down and down and down. Never mind the economy. To hell with eBay.. .

If you agree, say something.

I understand that ebay has annoyed you as it annoys many people. BUT you created part of the problem by not hving the correct information b4 you made a listing. Next time do
your home work.

As a seller you have to make into considering ebay and paypal fees first and try to find out ways to make up for it even if its charging a little extra for shipping.

Most of the items in categories that I list in inflate shipping to avoid fees. The starting bid is $.99, shipping is $9.99 and up. And most do not combine shipping.

The only thing that is said in the listings is that the shipping includes handling and packing material. Hardly anyone complains about the insane shipping. And Ebay doesn't say a word.

I get lots of buyers that go and they will buy 20 items. Then they expect only to pay shipping for one item and they almost always leave negative feedback from it and often don't pay. I gave them combined shipping but not super cheap, of course. Heck, I'll buy from people on eBay and they'll not do combined shipping but if it's a good deal, I never cause the seller problems.

I limit the amount a buyer can purchase to 3 items.

I had some buyer purchase 15 items from me. I sent him a message
asking if he knew the shipping fees would be high. He said yes.

I sent him the invoice. And of course he complained about the high shipping
and I had to file an UPI.

After that I limited purchases to three per buyer.
