How do I get feedback
 

Okay, so I've had my account for about a month and a half, I've sold 15 items below cost w/ same day, free shipping. If you bought them at cost they would be about $75 to $100 a piece, but I'm listing them very very cheap for feedback and only one out of the 15 have left feedback. I don't want to bother them, but I do put a note in the package along with a free sample. Why no feedback, isn't that what I need to become popular on eBay or more buyers to find me? I'm about to completely give up considering I'm practically giving the stuff away. I've only made about $400 on a $5,000 account.
I mean,I literally sold an item that would usually cost you $80 for only 25 because that was the best offer, well actually she only offered me 20. And that's with free shipping, i'm being robbed, just for feedback that I can't even get :( help

There's a lot of things people do to try and get feedback....in the end it's up to the buyer if they really want to leave feedback.

I would suggest to change the type of item you are selling for getting feedback.
I mean, sell your stuff to its regular price ($80 instead of $20) and alongside with that put some very cheap items you can give almost for free.

You are not guarantee to get your feedbacks but at least you don't lose much money.

Leaving a nice and thankfully note in the package is really a good thing to do.. or you can go and visit them with a baseball bat ;)

im in a similar situation. yet i refuse to undersell myself.

my current best account has 180/$13,500 and i only have 6 fb.

Buy small items from car boots, charity shops etc... loads of places to get small items on the cheap to quickly gain feedback.

I wouldn't sell valuable items fro pennies and feedback (which is likely you won't get). Why?

Because you might just find selling items for deal hunters who may just re-list item
purchased from you on eBay as well -- so they're naturally have no interest in leaving you feedback.

Just like facebook contests for likes and shares -- 95% of participant don't give a **** about your store/brand/persona, etc. -- they just want the deal/gift and they're gone the second it's over... :)

Keep in mind that buying feedback is not the same as selling feedback - in eB's eyes...

When first building account just act like a newbie. Contact them that you are concerned you did something wrong, because they didn't leave feedback and if there is anything you can do to make it better as you are new to ebay. and you were told that id people don't leave feedback you did something not right.

99% of time I get feedback after this....

well you can sell some stuff on ebay for feedback. Ship extremely fast and always message them afterwards. That would get you up there quick enough.

Yes I leave feedback right away and @spindoctor, I got what you were saying. That just may be the case, people see I'm "new" and are taking advantage 😡
The thing is on my old account I only got suspended from selling because I cancelled transactions, I messaged and messaged them and after no reply I cancelled saying it was my fault because I didn't want the person later on trying to buy it and I may have been out. But other than that I had 100% feedback and the most wonderful feedback. eBay wouldn't even appeal my suspension, I guess because I'm just a small seller even if I paid them hundreds of dollars a month, they don't care and it wasn't fair. 😕

And @SilentHill, I do, I ship the same day and if it's after hours, I go to the post office and drop it off so it Will be delivered first thing that morning. I'm doing everything possible. Maybe I'll just go to some consignment shops and get some really cheap nice jewelry. It's just so frustrating, ya know.

And I went to the dollar store and got some really adorable child shoes at 75% off. So I'll list those also, considering spring is around the corner I think they'll go fast. They're so cute I may go back and get more. Thanks guys, you all are are awesome on here and I love some of your crazy/funny suggestions. Y'all rock

I never worry about feedback at all. Sell items, ship fast and feedback comes organically. Sometimes asking for feedback causes problems because maybe someone that is not so happy is now annoyed you asked and leaves low ratings or bad feedback instead of non at all.

Personally, I hope non of my buyers leave feedback. No feedback is the bext feedback seeing as ratings are based on transactions and not feedback. Feedback can only hurt scores unless it is 5 stars everytime. No feedback is measured as per perfect five stars.

Besides being top rated, I really don't care. But doesn't feedback get you noticed by more people, I have a 50/5000 account. So does that change the situation, I'll never sale 50, much less 5,000 worth. I'm just a small seller with high-quality products mostly for women and they're in high demand right now.
