Buy didn't send fully address, the package returned.
 

Hey guys,

So I sent an item to a buyer, seems like he didn't give the full address since the parcel has been returned with a note that the address wasn't enough to reach the buyer.

I sent to the address that I received from eBay.

My question is, am I supposed to refund the buyer? According to eBay rules I mean, I paid 95 USD for the shipping and it seems super unfair...

Would like to know if according to the seller protection am I protected or not.

If he asks for his money back then you refund him. Other than that I would keep the money.

I've had competitors buy from me before with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ addresses just so they can leave bad DSR's/feedback. Messaged one the first time asking where I should re-ship the order and he said something like "Oh, it's ok, I got it and everything is good."

Well he is asking for his money back, but again - it wasn't my fault.

So I wonder if according to eBay policy I can keep the money or I must refund him?

Refund him... You got your item back, give him the money back...
If he tries to leave low DSRs/bad feedback, then you contact ebay to get him NARU'd

Yeah if he's asking for his money back then you give him his money back.

You got your merchandise back so there's no reason why the buyer shouldn't get their money back. In my first response I was assuming you had not heard from the buyer.

It's unfortunate but this kind of thing happens all the time. You just have to eat the loss on postage and move on. Maybe block the buyer if you feel like they gave you a bad address on purpose.
